2020 AACO National Meeting
Speaker Instructions & Abstract Submission

Thank you for your interest in participating as a presenter at the 2020 AACO National Meeting in Las Vegas.  The Program Planners currently are accepting abstracts -- both for in-person and online presentations.  Please review the information below and use our online abstract submission process to submit your presentation.  

The 2020 AACO National Meeting will take place at Harrah's Casino Hotel in Las Vegas.  The conference will take place from Saturday, November 14 through Monday, November 16, 2020.  CLICK HERE for details about the conference.

At the present time, we are continuing to plan for a normal in-person meeting, as usual.  However, in the event that is not feasible due to health risks, we are planning to offer virtual courses.  In addition, even if an in-person meeting is able to happen, we will consider online "remote" presentations in which the speaker is not physically present at the conference.  If you wish to submit an abstract for this type of a remote talk, please be sure to mark the appropriate box on the submission form.

The deadline for submitting your abstract is June 30, 2020.

Speaker/Abstract Submission Instructions

Please review these instructions carefully before completing the submission form.  Click on the button at the bottom of the page to enter information into the submission form and attach your abstract and JCAHPO forms.

  • ** All abstracts must be submitted through our new online system.  Abstracts will not be considered if submitted in any other manner.
  • Please complete all of the required fields on the online form, and attach both required documents (the JCAHPO bio/disclosure form and your abstract).  Your submission will not be considered until all of the required documents are received.
  • If you have a co-presenter, enter the name(s) in the space provided on the form.  (Note - each presenter must submit a JCAHPO bio/disclosure form.)
  • If you are proposing a panel discussion, enter all of the names of the panelists.  The primary name on the form should be the panel leader/moderator.  (Note - all panelists must submit a JCAHPO bio/disclosure form).
  • If you are submitting JCAHPO forms for multiple people, please combine them into one file to upload; do not upload multiple files.
  • ** Your abstract document must be in Microsoft Word format.  Please use THIS TEMPLATE when creating your abstract.  Save the Word document with your name in the filename, then attach to your online submission

  • ** JCAHPO bio/disclosure form -- DOWNLOAD HERE  (This is a "fillable" PDF file)
    • Be sure to review the JCAHPO "code of conduct" requirements on page 2 of the form.  All speakers are expected to adhere to these standards.
    • IMPORTANT - When you save the JCAHPO form after completing it, be sure to include your own name in the filename and upload with your submission form.
