The Ira G. Ross Eye Institute (REI) is seeking an AOC- or COC-certified orthoptist with minimum 3 years’ experience to join our team of 4 pediatric ophthalmologists and one experienced Certified Orthoptist.  The Pediatrics Division offers comprehensive and sub-specialty eye care for children, and management of strabismus and binocular vision disorders for all age groups.  The REI is affiliated with the Medical School at the State University of New York at Buffalo and is home to an Ophthalmology Residency Program, as well as an Orthoptic Fellowship Program.  Qualified applicants will be expected to participate in both patient care and teaching.  Opportunities for clinical research are abundant.  The successful candidate will be proficient in the orthoptic skills and knowledge necessary for diagnosis and treatment of common and complex sensorimotor conditions.  Competitive compensation and benefits package.
